A Houston based healthcare corporation is seeking critical care intensivists to join their established and growing Intensivist Programs in Southwest, Northeast and Northwest Houston. Intensivists are needed for each of these 24/7 intensivist programs.
Southwest Houston
568-bed community hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
Teaching hospital with all major specialties represented
Critical care and CV surgery fellowship, family practice residency
32-bed medical surgical ICU, 13-bed cardiovascular ICU
32-Bed Medical & Surgical ICU
24/7 intensivist coverage
2 intensivists cover days: 1 on (full) 6:30am to 5:00pm and one on (flex) 6:30am to 3:00pm. (7 day blocks Monday to Sunday)
Nights are 5:00pm to 6:30am (never more than 4 in a month)
180 to 200 hours a month
Day & night mid-level staffing includes 1 ACNP, 1 CCM fellow and 2 family practice residents
13-BED CV ICU
24/7 intensivist coverage
1 intensivist on day 6:30am to 5:00pm (7 day blocks Monday to Sunday)
1 intensivist on night 5:00pm to 6:30am
Day & night mid-level staffing includes 1 ACNP
Northeast Houston
244-bed hospital
24-bed medical surgical ICU
24/7 intensivist coverage
10 hour shifts: days 7:00am to 5:00pm and nights 5:00pm to 7:00am
7-day week on, week off rotation (Monday to Sunday)
1 intensivist on days 1 on nights
Northwest Houston (Tomball)
350-bed hospital
20-bed ICU
24/7 intensivist coverage
10 hour day shifts 7:00am to 5:00pm
No in house nights. Nights are on call 5:00pm to 7:00am and covered by telemedicine service
